The tubes are a blast. You can play them while you listen to your favorite tunes or just groove on your own! I bought these for my 9-year-old daughter and she loves them. She has to be in the mood to play with them but when she does, it's a blast. They're just unadorned fun! I would imagine they're awe-inspiring for the serious musician.

LOVE IT! Got for XMAS for for myself and my grandson to play with. He loves it too! Splendid regard! Lots of facial appearance and flexibility for the fee. Insignificant complaints: 1) Must include AC power adapter. 2) My grown-up (3rd generation) iPod is too thick to fit in the MP3 player tray. 3) Must include cable to play owing to external amp and/or speakers.

My 5-year-old loved this toy but it has completely died. Sad since he planning it was great fun. E-mails to the customer benefit programmed in the manual bounce and it's way too pricey to buy a substitution.We did also be inflicted with a enormous laugh since it was virtually impossible to remove from the packaging. Directions were INSIDE the box as we finally got it open (no joke, it took at least 30 synopsis, a phillips screwdriver and lots of patience).

The packaging on this manufactured goods is crazy; you don't find out you have to undo the underneath screws until you already have the wrap open in some way. ;-) Above and additional than that, this is a lot of fun, with lots of uncommon ways to use/be creative with it. Sorry to say, this harvest concept is much best than the actual product itself. First, the packaging that the product comes in takes a structural engineer or master thief to open. The conundrum at which the box is constructed is the harvest most amazing attribute. One of the chief flaws of this product is that it is not a hitting toy as you might guess from the drum brushwood/mallets built-in. The sounds are triggered by shift sensors surrounded by the tubes, made simply by waving a hand or other object over them. This makes it very tiresome to actually play the sounds you are tiresome to make without tender over the other tubes and triggering those sounds as well. The quality of the lecturer is poor, popping and cracking at median number settings. The iPod integration is no more than an audio jack that plays your iPod owing to its' sub-par lecturer. There is a cheap drawer to hold your iPod with a hole in the bottom to route the audio cable back to the audio jack. The sounds that you can make are restricted and not very creative appearance from a BMG product. I would be bowled over if the "songs" were bent/formal by the BMG as they are equally bland. Not to bring up the "tin-like" sounds appearance from the crap lecturer (did I bring up that?) As a BMG fan, this product looks to be no more than a great brand wrapped on a well-below average musical toy. Not not compulsory, especially at $[...]. Not even worth half of that.

The planning of this instrument is splendid, very uncommon from no matter what business else on the promote in this catagory...even if, it is very tiresome to get any precision when before a live audience it, in view of the fact that the tubes are so accurate collectively. I recently got one of these blue man group drum sets....and let me tell you, it was worth saving for! It is the most fun toy I have ever had, and I use It all the time!
