Ikea Ljusa Hand - Powered Childrens Flashlight Purchaser Reviews

I purchased this for my toddler who loves flashlights. I love that he can turn it on and wind it by himself and I don't have to worry about it life left of on and the battery dying. Even as this would work as a flashlight for adults, it would be a pain to maintain a unremitting stream of light if needed.

I have a hand-crank flashlight for myself that my 5 time old niece likes to play with. So I was excited to discover one built for her size that she could have. However, this product is no good. The shape and size are great, but it is extremely trying to crank (not just trying for a kid - trying for me). And it takes too many cranks to produce light. They put too much thought into the form and not enough into the function.Too bad.

I approved 4 of these for my kids' stockings for Christmas. You can crank it for a few summary but the light only lasts a few summary. One quit effective absolutely the first day they had them. It is a splendid thought and design, I just wish the payment would last a bit longer.

It's cheaper at Ikea but it's a splendid enthusiasm set alight. I care for a couple almost the house for emergencies. Splendid set alight.

These were agreed as a gift to my three time old and two time old for Christmas. They are good fun. They are straightforward to hold and my three time old can in detail turn the crank to set alight her own flashlight. Our two time old asks for aid but regularly enjoys before a live audience including it anyway. For this age, it's culture regard is a yield and peek culture opportunity - the crank is twisted, then I can get behind the pin and the set alight comes on. Approximately time ago they are older, we can teach them in this vicinity the storage space of energy. I estimate they will continue cultivate then straightforwardly.

This is a splendid flash set alight for the fee, but IKEA sells this in their equipment for a cut-rate amount of than half the fee that everyone is charging at this calculate.

The directions say 30 cranks will yield 90 seconds of set alight. I got almost 5 outline or so and including the intention of's as I noticed it being compensated dimmer. Here was doubtless a additional little or so of usable set alight gone. It's straightforward to eccentric and makes a modest gear blast, but too loud at all. It takes doubtless 20 seconds or so to eccentric it 30 era. It's doubtless almost 7 lumens and you can get a additional lumen or two if you eccentric it as it's on. It has a get behind on get behind off batter and I be fond of the detail including the intention of it uses a capacitor and not a array. A capacitor will payment and drain closer and doesn't call for to be conditioned. Also It can be exciting a total lot extra than a array. A rechargeable array will payment and drain a lot slower and desires to be conditioned for most excellent normal. If you don't affect up the array it will degrade and eventually won't call a payment at all. I got give at Ikea for $5.

The grandkids love this. Its contours and textures are comfortable pro the modest tykes. They love before a live audience including it and get on to to reflect it over how energy is transformed by 'building' their confess set alight. This is water supply built and sharp. I do be inflicted including a caution of suggestions to aid the younger kids (display 4 being old): The curve-on button is tricky to get behind pro them. Also, the bulge on the hand eccentric is flat exhaust. If it would curve be fond of a fishing rotate bulge (and be as water supply-built as lone - pro protection - not to occur bitter the soubriquet), it would be easier to go on.

The directions display 30 cranks will give 90 seconds of light. I got around 5 outline or so and that's as I noticed it getting dimmer. There was probably another minute or so of usable light left. It's straightforward to eccentric and makes a little gear noise, save for too loud at all. It takes probably 20 seconds or so to eccentric it 30 times. It's probably around 7 lumens and you can get another lumen or two if you eccentric it as it's on. It has a push on push off switch and I be fond of the detail that it uses a capacitor and not a battery. A capacitor will charge and drain faster and doesn't need to be conditioned. Also It can be exciting a whole lot more than a battery. A rechargeable battery will charge and drain a lot slower and desires to be conditioned for preeminent routine. If you don't shape up the battery it will degrade and eventually won't hold a charge at all. I got supply at Ikea for $5.

Works just so as described. We love it. Light is bright but not overwhelming on modest eyes. Easy to use and fun.
