LeapFrog Modest Leaps' Dora the Surveyor: Discovering Words and LanguageI bought this for my 2 yrs old son. He just loves Dora and Boots. It teaches languages spanish and english and also it teaches numbers and decision building. Kids are part of the story, teaching them about choices. A Splendid and cute game to have for a boy or girl.

I purchased the toy/diversion for my modest granddaughter a couple of being ago, but she didn't actually like it until now. So as I looked-for new games for it, they were extremely tricky to discover. Opportunely Amazon had them and this Dora one is perfect since she loves Dora. I worried with the intention of they were a modest young for her, but it may be with the intention of they are perfect for her age. She is four and loves it.

Once my son got the hang of the stab with the "Leap Frog" toddler video I was eager to move on to some habitual faces thinking he would really get into the interactive play. But Dora (or as I described in my assess title, Bora) was disappointing. My son wandered off to do additional equipment until he heard it was time to push a button or move the stab. There is a storyline like like the television show but it is sooooo slow with little interaction.I gave this 1 star for fun because as I said, both my son (2 yrs old) and I found this to be boring.I gave it 3 stars for educational regard because I don't feel that my son really learned much from it. He by now knows his facts and knows animal names. What I was hoping for most from Dora was more Spanish as I am trying to ease my son into learning the foreign language but there were only a few terms. It was mostly facts in Spanish...which I by now know and can lecture him myself.I gave it 1 star for durability because, well...it is a dvd. My son could easily break that if he got his hands on it. Sure it is in a case but has that ever bunged a toddler before?I say if you want to get a toddler Little Leaps dvd to start with the LeapFrog one called "Leap Yet to be".I purchased Dora and the Thomas Little Leaps dvds at an incredible fee. With a bit of luck Thomas will be better. But I am glad I didn't pay full fee!
